Grandpa Max take his grandkids to a local swamp where Gator-fest is held. On the other hand, Ben is up to no good again, as usual, when Gwen finds him playing around with the Omnitrix's faceplate. She warns Ben of what dangers may arise, especially when you deal with alien technology. Grandpa Max tells him to promise not to continue it further, though he still does, and finally gets it. The next day at the festival, Dr. Animo and his giant frog come to disrupt the festivities, and Ben is ready to take him down. However, instead of transforming into a full-fledged alien, he becomes a hybrid combination of two, cancelling out each other's strengths. Ben gets what he deserves, and will he ever get the Omnitrix back together again?
