Grandpa Max and the kids head to an underwater resort, controlled and owned by an old friend, Donovan Grand Smith. They arrive with a warm welcome from Donovan himself, though his grandson, Edwin, doesn't seem to be quite the happy one. They are given a tour of the place, and soon find out that aliens were after the place. Grandpa Max suspects that Donovan has something to do with it, though the only goal is the safety of their grandchildren.
