Charmcaster is Hex's niece. She is a magician, although her weapon is her unusual enchanted bag, rather than a mage's staff. She releases her uncle from his prison cell, and they head out to pursue after the artifact known as the Keystone of Bazell. They find out that Gwen has the charm, and Hex finds his chance on taking revenge on Lucky Girl, this time with help from his niece. Charmcaster is very cunning and acted innocent in front of Gwen herself, and she used it to her advantage to steal the Keystone away from her wrist band. In the end, before the ritual to re-create the Charms of Bazell was completed, she was defeated by Lucky Girl and Ben as Wildvine, and their magic is entombed within the Keystone itself.

She returns in the episode, "A Change of Face," where she mistakenly switches bodies with Gwen. There, she attempts to mimic Gwen's natural behavior to fool Grandpa Max and Ben, while Gwen in Charmcaster's body is sent to a prison for women. Charmcaster's plan almost ended in succession, but she was stopped by Ben and Gwen after attempting to continue her original plan to take over Ben's body.
