Ditto appears while Ben tries to relieve his boredom. Out of all the other aliens Ben has, Ditto has the unique ability to duplicate (known as binary fission) himself in numerous numbers without cutting his strength in half. Regardless whether Ditto is strong enough to fight a big bad guy, he can increase his chances of bringing a villian down by cloning. However, this ability can backfire as Ben cannot transform back to himself when one of his clones are separated from the group.

What more can Ben ask for when he can annoy so many people at the same exact time? Ditto.
