Lieutenant Steel is part of the Special Alien Capture Team, or SACT, and his role is to track down the aliens that have been wreaking havoc. These aliens, were Ben's aliases, and his reputation has been brought to a negative level. After going after Diamondhead at the U.S. Mint, he longer finds him, though looks at Ben who directs him where the alien was headed. He was kind enough to let Max, Gwen, and Ben go, but after seeing the Omnitrix, his suspicions towards him arise, thinking that the Tennyson family may have something to do with the recent crimes.
